Tuesday, January 02, 2007i still am jobless after so long. its really disappointing. anyways, kr told me yesterday that we don't really have to buy a new adult ez link card cos he said that when he took the bus, his ez link card still worked, but instead of the "toot toot" sound, it became only "toot". i mean, u get my point. so i guess we can all still retain our personalised ez link card. =) oh and for those who already bought, apparently sabby said that we could transfer the money so it won't be lost. =)so now, its all adult fares, how i long to be a kid again. i mean, teenager, there're just so much more benefits and s much less to worry about. Well, i went for my first "countdown" on 31st Jan 2006. =) it was a "countdown" cos we didn't actually get to count, instead the fireworks sort of told us, it was already 2007. It was fun nevertheless. Went with diana, valr, sabby, and qi xiang for dinner first then kr joined us later on. Ate at breeks for the first time too. and what kr said was true, even though i ate something which is rather small in portion, it was the one with the most trans-fats. wonder why i didn't think about it beforehand. sigh. so we decided to go to the esplanade and walked towards the bridge. guess we were kinda lucky cos it started to rain and we brough unbrellas! =) anyways, we decided to seek shelter under a very good tree at first and waited till the rain subsided a little then moved back to the bridge. by then, the crowd had dispersed a little due to the rain so we were able to take rather good spots. had another hour or so to wait so in the end, we sat on the damp road and started talking. poor qi xiang, he was all alone, but hope he had fun too. the fireworks were brilliant. it really beats sitting at home and watching the tv really. well, and we were lucky a second time cos train services extended till 1.30 a.m so we all took the train home. i stopped at sime and walked home with kr. long but nice walk. =) hope i worked as much fats as i could then. haha.. anyways, gotta go now. really wanna get to work soone. =X take care everyone!!! see ya soon! |
